The trusted authority in transmission repair since 1954

Global resources.

Boots on the ground.

ATRA's international organization provides the big picture. Your local chapter handles the work that makes it real — workforce, marketing, training, and the colleagues who keep your shop sharp.

Membership is automatic. If you're already an ATRA member, you're already a member of your local chapter — no extra fee.

WHY CHAPTER INVOLVEMENT MATTERS

Strategic moves that pay off in your service bay.

Local Workforce Development

Chapters partner with community colleges to shape modern transmission curricula and create a direct pipeline from the classroom to your service bay.

Peer-to Peer Problem Solving

Discuss regional trends, share solutions for climate-specific gremlins, and turn competitors into colleagues at chapter meetings.

Hyper-Local Training

Management seminars and hands-on technical programs delivered in your region — no flight or hotel required.

Grow Your Network

Give Back

Mentor newer shops, protect the Golden Rule Standards, and leave the industry better than you found it.

How to run for the Board

1. Be a member in good standing

Active ATRA Rebuilder Members are eligible to nominate and serve.

2. Submit a nomination

Self-nominate or be nominated by a peer ahead of the annual election cycle.

3. Stand for election
